Sète

Sète, port & beaches

Called the singular island (expression due to Paul Valéry), Sète saw the birth of French artists like Paul Valéry, Georges Brassens, Manitas de Plata, or Jean Vilar.

It is considered by some as a Venice of Languedoc for its port, its canal and its particularly privileged location on a promontory, embellished with a sandy coastline.
